05 Case study
Hanuneeb
Hanuneeb is an early-stage startup in Gujarat, India. The studio owns technology end to end: architecture and stack selection, delivery of the company's website and mobile app, and the internal operating system the company runs on.

The problem
Early-stage founders face technology decisions that will bind them for years, without a technical partner in the room. Agencies quote features. Nobody owns the system.
The real need was not code. It was judgment: which stack, which build-versus-buy calls, which hires, in which order, against which budget.
The approach
The engagement is structured as ownership, not tickets. The studio selects the stack, sets the architecture, and delivers the company's website and mobile app against scoped, dated engineering plans converted directly from business goals.
Beneath the visible products sits an internal operating system spanning the company's four departments: Founders, Development, Marketing, and Accounting. Project tracking, documentation, and cross-team workflows live in one system instead of four silos.
Advisory is part of the deliverable: hiring plans, budget trade-offs, and build-versus-buy decisions, argued with reasons and priced in time.
Architecture
A deliberately simple estate for a company that needs leverage, not infrastructure.
- Company website
- Mobile app
- Project tracking
- Documentation
- Cross-department workflows
- Scoped, dated deliveries
- Build-vs-buy decisions
- Hiring and budget advisory
The hard parts
Right-sizing everything
The temptation in a greenfield is to build for the company it might become. Every choice here is sized for the company it is, with seams left where growth will actually pull.
Translating between rooms
Founders think in outcomes and dates. Engineering thinks in scope and risk. The fractional CTO role is the translation layer, and the plans it produces are commitments, not estimates.
Outcome
Hanuneeb operates with a technology owner from day one: products shipping, four departments coordinated through one internal system, and technical decisions made with reasons attached.
The engagement is the studio's model for fractional leadership: senior judgment, part-time cost, full accountability.
